Our beloved first Collie - gregarious from the start! He has great patience, cherished love and protective instincts concerning children and a rock-solid temperament. Everest is not prone to digging. A fantastic watch dog, with good judgement, who does not bark without real cause. Always up for a game or becomes a quiet presence when needed. Loves everyone he meets unless they pose a threat. He has a constant happy and upbeat nature. His superpower is, post-Christmas, turning our boxes and paper into confetti.

Holiday of Featherburry
Holiday is a spectacular dog who adores children and her person. She loves everyone, but Jessica is definitely her favorite adult human. She is snuggly and calm most of the time, but is happiest doing whatever her person is doing. She LOVES running too though! One of her favorite things to do in the nearby field after a good run is to hunt for rodents. She has herding instincts but has had very little exposure, though she has collected a few stray chickens for us! Her superpower is making Jessica give her whatever she wants.

Featherburry's Kumaon Iris
Iris is a very sweet and super intelligent girl. She has her daddy's great judgement of situations and her mother's hunting skills. She is guarded with strangers at first but quickly warms up and hasn't met a child she doesn't love. She does not lack boldness, but rather assesses the situation when meeting strangers. With the other dogs she volunteers to be "it" during chase. Intense games around the yard often include freestyle parkour stunts off of big trees and raised porches. Iris is one of our more serious property protectors though and will sound the alarm if she believes something is amiss...she's almost never wrong either! Iris's superpower is being able to bounce off the ground from a standstill with all fours higher than the average person's waist AND being able to back up almost as quickly as she can move forward (super fast).

Featherburry's Renfrewshire (Ren)
Ren is an extremely sweet and silly girl who LIVES to receive attention. She would spend all day, every day, snuggled up with a person being pet and never desire to leave. She will twist her body into whatever shape is necessary to get maximum contact with a person if allowed. She often sleeps on the floor with a head on a person's foot because she can't always be cuddled. That said, Ren is capable of dogging and loves to play with other dogs. Just like her mother, Ren LOVES children. Out of all of our dogs, she surprisingly has the most interest in the small stock; she'll sit and watch them with great interest for long periods of time. Can't wait to have her herding instincts tested eventually. Ren's superpower is being able to squeak out as much attention as she can from everyone, which often includes goes boneless/limp so that she needs to be touched in order to be moved...inconvenient brown and white puddle of love... very clever, very endearing.

Featherburry's Dr. Nefario
Our outcross for future genetic diversity. A continuously happy dog who is slow to warm up to strangers but loves everyone he knows. Born and raised here, he loves children, other dogs, cats and water! Has good recall, likes baths and accepts nail trims well. He is a very food motivated, a fast learner with an affectionate and fun, playful nature. His superpower: kicking one or both back legs out behind him, affectionately called his backfire, when we excite him.
